ABSTRACT.
A contribution to the knowledge of the fungal flora of the Balearic Islands (Spain). VIII. The authors report 43 species of fungi of the Balearic Islands, Spain: 9 Ascomycetes and 34 Basidiomycetes. Two taxa of fungi are reported as new records for the mycological flora of Spain: Lachnum controversum (Cooke) Rehm and Tapesia retincola (Rabehn.) P. Karsten, 26 are reported as new records for the mycological flora of the Balearic Islands: Peziza proteana (Boud.) Seaver f. sparassoides (Boud.) Korf, Tarzetta catinus (Homsk.: Fr.) Korf et J.P. Rogers ss. Dennis, Tuber borchii Vittad., T. rufum (Pico) f. nitidum (Vittad.) Montecchi et Lazari, Agaricus gennadii (Chatin et Boud.) P.D. Orton, Amanita gracilior Bas et Honrubia, Aureoboletus gentilis (Quél.) Pouzar, Chaetocalathus craterellus (Dur. et Lév.) Singer, Clitocybe pruniodora (Maire) Singer, Conocybe semiglobata (Kühner ex Singer) Kühner et Watling, Coprinus velatus Quél. ss. Pilàt, Entoloma saundersii (Fr.) Sacc. var. hiemalis Lazzari et Blanco, Hymenogaster griseus Vittad., Laccaria laccata (Scop.: Fr.) Berk. et Broome var. pallidifolia (Peck) Peck, Lentinellus cochleatus (Hoffm.: Fr.) Karsten var. inolens Konrad et Maubl., Lenzites warnier Durrieu et Mont., Leucocoprinus birnbaumii (Corda) Singer, L. cepistipes (Sowerby:: Fr.) Pat., Limacella illinita (Fr.: Fr.) Murrill, Marasmiellus anomalus Lasch var. microsporus (R. Maire) Antonin, Perenniporia ochroleuca (Berk.) Ryvarden, Pleurotus dryinus (Pers.: Fr.) Kummer, Pluteus ephebeus (Fr.: Fr.) Gillet, Tricholoma psammopus (Kalchbr.) Quél., T. sejunctum (Sowerby:: Fr.) Quél. and Wakefieldia macrospora (Hawker) Hawker and, also, four are reported new records for the mycological flora of the Majorca island and seven only for the Natural Parc of the s'Albufera de Mallorca (Muro). Notes on their ecology, chorology and taxonomy are also added.

Contribució al coneixement micològic de les illes Balears. VIII. Es citan 43 tàxons, 9 Ascomycetes i 34 Basidiomycetes, dels quals 2 són noves cites pel catàleg d' Espanya: Lachnum controversum i Tapesia retincola, 26 són nous pel catàleg de les Illes Balears: 4 són nous només per l'illa de Mallorca i 7 són nous només pel catàleg del Parc Natural de s'Albufera de Mallorca (Muro). Hi ha notes sobre l'ecologia, corologia i taxonomia.
RESUMEN.
Contribución al conocimiento micológico de las islas Baleares. VIII. Se citan 43 táxones de hongos de las Islas Baleares, España, 9 Ascomycetes y 34 Basidiomycetes, de los cuales resultan 2 nuevos para el catálogo español, 26 nuevos para las Islas Baleares, 4 nuevos para la isla de Mallorca y 7 nuevos para el catálogo del Parque Natural de s'Albufera de Mallorca (Muro). Se ofrecen notas sobre la ecología, corología y taxonomía.
